I’m a lucky girl. I’ve got a wonderfully eclectic mix of friends, some I’ve known for years – roughly twenty in this case but let’s skirt around that painful fact. Sometimes my friends ask me in my role as memory maker to take family portraits for them and I’m always happy to oblige because that’s exactly what I’m here for. I’m confident in the knowledge that when they see the resulting images they will squeal with delight, but in this instance when my friend asked me if I would photograph her family portraits it was I who squealed with delight.
Let me introduce you to a very special little girl named Taliah whose mum Sarah asked me to document. She’s an absolute darling, and thoroughly enjoyed raaaring at me like a dinosaur (almost as much as I enjoyed raaaring back) during our session. Mummy and Daddy are utterly uh-maze-ing with her and the adoration that Taliah has for them is palpable. I was absolutely delighted with the images that we achieved during our time together. See T, no cheese involved at all.
Sarah is rather clever on the quiet, not only did she have without doubt the best handwriting at school but she now runs the crafting blog Enchantali. She made the super silver slingmama pendant in the second image, as well as the peacock tutu Taliah is wearing. She will shortly be listing her creations on Etsy, updates will be available via the Enchantali Facebook page, so after you’ve finished perusing the wonderful set of images below please go give her a Like!
