Spring Wedding Photography Pembroke Lodge

Wedding Photography Pembroke Lodge by Emma Louise Photography

Back in March I was invited to photograph the wedding of Hema and Julie which was held in The Belvedere Suite at Pembroke Lodge. I was thrilled at the prospect of documenting a spring wedding at this beautiful setting, and the weather and backdrop during an unseasonally warm day in March didn’t disappoint.

Pembroke Lodge is a magnificent listed Georgian Mansion that has been lovingly restored to provide first class facilities for weddings, and  is situated at the highest point in Richmond Park with spectacular views over the Thames Valley.

The Belvedere is a purpose built wedding venue which combines classic elegance with superb PA and sound systems, mood lighting and starlit ceiling.

The venue serves a dual purpose; seating up to 140 guests for your ceremony and Wedding Breakfast, then providing room for up to 200 guests in total for an evening party. Reception drinks were served on the terrace, which leads directly out from The Belvedere with stunning views of the Thames Valley to the West.

A Vintage Rolls Royce and Newly Married Portraits in the Daffodils

The bride arrived accompanied by her young daughter who was also chief bridesmaid. They happily posed for portraits alongside their beautiful vintage carriage, which I later used for portraits of the newly married couple together. The wedding took place in The Belvedere suite

Taking full advantage of the stunning Pembroke Lodge backdrop we took a short walk from the main house into the woods which surround the lodge where the daffodils were in full bloom, and then the couple returned to their wedding party to consume the delicious three course Wedding Breakfast.

The evening entertainment began with the couple cutting their blossom covered pink cream wedding cake, before they took to the floor for their first dance.

In keeping with the tradition of the Groom’s family a belly dancer was also invited to provide unique entertainment for the guests!

If you are getting married and you require a wedding photographer, please do get in touch to discuss your requirements.
