Ever wondered where Neverland was? I think I found it. As mentioned in Part One of this trio of posts, I was lucky enough to secure a place at a recent event run by Styled Shoots. The location was Avins Farm in Ardingly, Sussex, the theme Peter Pan, incorporating four scenes; The Wendy House, The Lost Boys {featured here}, The Bridal Scene and Grand Finale. The organisers certainly delivered over and above this promise of Neverland magic, and it was a great chance to meet with other photographers, share ideas and network *waves* at all fellow lovers of cake!

After we’d finished working – loosely translated this meant hovering on ladders above a newly-wed Wendy and Peter, enticing Tinkerbell to cover us in pixie dust, chasing the Lost Boys and Captain Hook around the farm and beating the rain with bubble guns – we were invited back into the barn for some utterly delicious tea and cakes followed by a glass of pink champagne. If this wasn’t enough, the hosts had also arranged for us to benefit from some fabulous business advice from Lisa Devlin of Devlin Photos, and Melissa Love of Melissa Love Designs.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon from which I obtained shrewd business guidance as well as some wonderful images. Too many choose from in fact so I have had to split the results into a post per scene, and even then I feel I should apologise for this entry being rather image heavy. The first post from The Wendy House and was entitled {Do you believe in Fairies…?} and the third was entitled {All children, except one, grow up} and featured the Finale- Wendy & Peter’s wedding!
