Sadie’s Mum was keen for some portraits to commemorate her recent graduation to secondary school. She had the coolest shoes – I wish they did them in grown up size. My eldest boy couldn’t quite grasp the name of his newest friend so resorted to calling her ‘Mer-sadies’ when he met her. He even cried when she tried to leave without giving him a parting smooch. She did (eventually), and normality was restored.
We had a great time making use of my portable studio setup during this session although it would’ve been nice if the rain had stayed away for more than five minutes so we could’ve gone out for some gritty urban images as intended. Never mind, we improvised with a mini rock guitar instead!
