My ‘Fun in the Bluebells’ photography sessions may have been a bit of a washout with the humans, but the inclement weather posed no threat during this session with three four legged friends – they had a whale of a time!
Another rainy day, another visit to Shoreham Woods in Kent – avoiding torrential rain for my sake this time – and over the space of our session we had to contend with the wind blowing our umbrellas inside out, keeping the camera protected from the short but very sharp rain shower (thank goodness for weather-sealing) and then trying to get three tired, wet, panting dogs into position for a photo. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I do like a challenge!
Ani, Oscar and Jessie were the stars of the show and once they had exhausted themselves running around the woods they were fairly compliant about having their photo taken. I have discovered that rather like their human counterparts, portrait session bribery works well with my canine friends too, only this time it was a really big stick rather than a bag of chamallows that was my tactic to entice unwilling clients into position here!
Sue Stoffen - Wonderful photos, I love blubells.
