Baby Photography Kent
I’ve photographed Mason before during a pregnancy photoshoot when he was a perfectly formed bump. I took a trip to the lavender fields over the summer with his Mum and Dad where we captured some stunningly beautiful portraits of them together whilst looking forward to the imminent arrival of their son.
His Mummy is my oldest friend and believe me she worked extremely hard to bring her little boy into the world, and so it was with utter delight that I was able to capture some beautiful newborn baby portraits of him. He goes straight to the top of my best behaved newborns list; he allowed me to move him into position beautifully and even when he was awake he didn’t cry, he just lay there quite content looking at me quizzically – if only you knew Mason!
These images were taken on location at the family home in Swanley, Kent using natural light. I prefer to use natural light supported by discrete flash where possible with newborns, I do however have a full studio kit that I can call upon so if you don’t have bright, tall, wide windows like the ones in this house I can create the right lighting at any location.
Mason was 15 days when these portraits were taken. I do advise newborn sessions take place within the first two weeks from baby’s birthday, but as this little guy and him Mum had to spend some time recuperating in hospital I happily waited until Mum and baby were feeling up to their photography session.
I specialise in maternity and newborn photography and offer a bump to baby package – three sessions for the price of two. Spanning up to 12 months, at the end of our time together you can commission your very own complimentary lifestyle folio enabling you to create a gorgeous triptych of our sessions.
