I love the power of social media and am an avid user of Facebook and Twitter. I was delighted when I was contacted as a result of a Facebook posting by Alex who was keen to attend the mini shoots sessions that I held at Mayfield Lavender with her lovely daughters, Ruby and Betty.
I’ve never had to carry out a slug and snail risk assessment at my shoots before, but then I’ve never met two girls who loved slugs and snails quite as much. Before allowing me to take any photos the girls made me check that our section of lavender was free of molluscs in case we accidentally trod on any! I am pleased to report that no animals were hurt during the making of these pictures.
Despite the best efforts of the rain to dampen our spirits during this and a later session with a gorgeous {Baby in a Basket}, by asking the girls to throw a few twirls around in the lavender we danced the rain away and achieved some really thrilling results during our session.
It was great fun girls, thanks for being so entertaining!
