Edenbridge Photographer Emma Louise Photography featured in Kent and Sussex Courier
I was very excited to have this image – which has to go down as one of my all time favourites – featured in my local paper, the Kent and Sussex Courier this month!
It’s from a recent family shoot and features a little boy called Frankie. His Mum was very keen to get a portrait of him surrounded by his cars collection and he was only to happy to comply. I love it when clients have their own inspiration for me to take on board and incorporate into their sessions, it really allows me to personalise the experience for them.
We got several boxes of his 4 wheeled friends and then whilst I was putting the cars into formation Frankie was busy fetching me more to add. The final portrait contains only a small selection of his collection!

I then got Frankie into position and it only took me a couple of frames to get the shot featured here. I think the paper has used a little artistic licence with the reports of me singing Disney songs; I’ve two boys myself and have been forced to watch Cars and Cars 2 hundreds of times so I was reeling off the names of the characters rather than singing, and off camera below me Frankie’s Mum is tickling his feet resulting in this delightful portrait.
Later on in the session Frankie’s little brother wasn’t as keen to have his portrait taken so I was singing ‘Wind the Bobbin Up’!
You can see a photo of his baby brother in the cars over on my Facebook page.
I’ll share a few more images of this session soon, in the meantime you can read the full article here.
