As Father’s Day has long since passed it is now perfectly safe for me to blog these images which were taken as a surprise for Daddy back in June. I was honoured to meet up with this little family, consisting of Freya who at a mere six weeks old was right between the transition from squidgy newborn to interactive baby, her brother Ewan who is an incredibly cheeky and rambunctious *just* two year old, and their lovely Mummy who kept me supplied with tea and millionaire’s shortcake during my visit (thanks Mum!).
The family have recently moved to their forever home and had lots of empty walls and frames to fill – before investing in a session with me it’s worth considering what you’d like to do with your images afterwards. I am still on my {frame it!} mission as your images deserve so much more than being stuck on your computer’s hard drive forever.
Little Miss Freya had ideas other than falling into deep slumber for the majority of our session, and certainly made me work my cake off with all the rocking, sshhing and nose stroking (works like a charm) but we got there in the end! Her big brother was hilarious and kept me thoroughly entertained with his antics throughout the session, then when it came to his turn to feature in front of the camera he was absolutely perfectly behaved.
The family also joined me along with the Grandparent’s plus an Auntie at my recent Studio Day; more from these sessions to follow on the blog soon. The change in Freya in such a short amount of time was truly amazing – babies grow so fast, why not invest in my Bump to Baby package so you don’t miss a moment?
