Pregnancy Portrait Photography Gift

When my oldest, loveliest friend announced that she and her husband were expecting a baby I can’t tell you how excited I was. Another has just done the same and I may have wept one or two tears of joy. I can’t help it, I am so pleased to see my friends happy and about to embark on an amazing journey with a whole new person they’ve created.

Chris had her baby shower back in June and it was then I gifted her a pregnancy portrait photography session and as many follow up sessions with baby as she’ll allow.

We ummed and ahhed about location, I’d love to do a shoot at the beach (please let me know if you’d like a maternity session at the beach!) but as she is due in late summer when I was about to hold my lavender sessions this was the backdrop we settled on. Isn’t it stunning?

Pregnancy isn’t always an easy journey, and I know that poor Chris has worked incredibly hard throughout. She deserves to look positively blooming and I think you’ll agree that she rocks it and her beautiful baby bump very much suits her.

Now I can’t wait to meet Master B and to see if I win the baby sweepstake – I went early and a very reasonable weight for your first!
