Just on the cusp of autumn I met with this lovely couple who were eagerly awaiting the birth of their first baby. Pregnancy is always an exciting time, but there’s something uniquely special about your first and it’s well worth documenting. Investing in a professional photography session is one way of course, but why not keep your own week by week photo journal of your pregnancy? I did it with mine and I love looking back at them and showing my children how they grew before they were even here.
The couple were on team yellow and I was very impressed with such a perfectly neat bump. I guessed boy bump…wrong! Little A was born safely and just in time for her Christmas presents.
In Home Pregnancy Photography Sessions
I like to keep my pregnancy photography sessions fairly relaxed, so we started off with some portraits in and around the couple’s home before we took a short walk to a nearby park. It was a pretty grim day to begin with, but by the time we made our way through the leaf lined walkway the sun had appeared from behind a cloud, perfectly lighting the setting for us.

The couple have invested in my very popular Bump to Baby package, so a few weeks later I was back to meet Little A for her newborn session. I’m looking forward to meeting with them all again in the near future to see how much they’ve grown as a family!
