Happy Mothers Day!
I’d like to wish all Mums and Mums to be a wonderful day. Of course Mother’s Day shouldn’t be just an annual thing, where I come from it’s Mother’s Day every day.
Every day my kids drive me to distraction with their ability to empty their entire stock of toys onto my living room floor in 37 seconds flat and then claim to be bored, twinned with their inability to locate the wash basket/kitchen sink/pen lid. But it all pales into insignificance when every day my children tell me that they love me, ask me for a “huggle up” and some Mummy time.
So whilst it’s very lovely that today I have been be gifted cards, trinkets and my Mummy badge of honour I don’t really need it to know that my love for my children has nurtured them into the amazing kids they are right now.
Family Photography
In my family photography adventures I get to meet a lot of Mums. More importantly I get to see the interaction between Mums and their children, from days old newborns to teenagers and beyond – the bond between a Mum and her children is something magical to witness. I just happen to be lucky enough to occasionally capture it through a lens.
My style of photography encourages families to interact with one another, the emotion in the following images is real.
Hallmark don’t sell that.
