Hen Party Photography with Style
Whoever said Hen Parties were all about L plates? One of the reasons I love partnering with The Vintage Hen House is because their Hen Party collections are so very different from your typical Hen Party. They are bespoke, quirky and lots of fun so I was delighted to be invited as official Hen Party Photographer to cover a group who had opted to celebrate with The Vintage Hen House’s 20’s Seaside Charm Collection.
Brighton Rocks
I met with Imogen and friends at Brighton Rocks Bar; tucked away in the heart of Kemp Town, Brighton Rocks is an iconic part of Brighton’s history. The group had enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and cocktails and were in the midst of their vintage makeovers when I arrived. A few quick photos of prep and the girls were photo ready!
Brighton Beach and Pier
As the weather was unseasonably sunny and warm for a February afternoon, we decided to take a short stroll to Brighton beach for the Hen’s photographs. We had a quick walk along the promenade, past the Brighton Wheel where I may have gently encouraged the group to jump from and hide behind walls!
It was then onto the beach for a few quick snaps of their gymnastic abilities by creating their own human pyramid before finding a blank canvas – the teal shutters of an out of season seafront store – for some gorgeous portraits of the friends individually and as a group.
We finished our session in the shadow of Brighton Pier as the sun had started to set, just as the girls were set for a fabulous evening of celebrations. Congratulations to Imogen who celebrated her recent wedding too!
