Margaret & Gareth got married back in January, on a very snowy Thursday which was the anniversary of the date they had met. It was an intimate wedding ceremony attended by just a handful of friends and family including the couple’s daughter Joanne.
Margaret and Gareth were married in the Old Palace Suite Room which is situated within the grounds of Bromley Civic Centre. After their wedding ceremony I took their formal wedding portraits on the grand staircase at the centre of the Old Palace, Civic Centre. Having shot a number of weddings at this location this was the first time I’d been allowed access to the staircase and what a hidden gem it was!
We then took advantage of the picturesque snowy landscape and braved the elements for some outdoor group wedding portraits, and of course the customary confetti throwing. Then it was on to the Michelin starred Chapter One to celebrate the couple’s marriage with a superb champagne reception followed by a delicious meal three course wedding breakfast. It was an altogether wonderful day and I wish the couple every happiness for the future.
