To try and sum up just how amazing the past year has been for Emma Louise Photography is exceptionally difficult. I’ve learned so much and I am incredibly proud of what I’ve achieved and the images that I’ve produced this year. I’ve shot at some amazing locations in the South East, from Mayfield Lavender in Surrey to Bodiam Castle in Sussex, Leeds Castle in Kent to The Southbank in London.

I have found myself increasingly gravitating towards maternity and newborn photography which is a direction that I am extremely happy to follow – I absolutely adore meeting excitedly expectant parents for their maternity sessions and then going back for cuddles with their beautiful baby a few weeks later. It’s such a special time and it’s a real honour to be invited in to capture it.

Of course none of this would be possible without my wonderful clients, and I’d like to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to document your blossoming bumps, those never to be repeated newborn days, or invited me to preserve a very small snapshot of happy family life. Then there’s the couples who ask me to cover engagements, weddings and receptions. I have also enjoyed venturing into corporate photography with local businesses who’ve allowed me to capture their business portfolio – with a difference!

I’ve met some absolutely lovely people and witnessed some truly humbling acts of love. I have to especially thank those clients, friends and family who have recommended me as a photographer. The vast majority of my commissions come via word of mouth – it’s the very best compliment you can pay me and I truly appreciate it.
